The immersive art experience curated by Maia Marinelli unveils the vibrant cultural tapestry of Mazagon, nestled within Mumbai’s bustling streets. Developed in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Mumbai and Anant National University, this project is a testament to the fusion of innovation, research, and storytelling prowess.
Through this exhibition, participants delve into a multifaceted exploration of Mazagaon’s stories. It promises to be a dynamic and immersive exhibition where one can engage with the people of the community. The exhibition features four distinct projects namely Radio (audio stories), VR Experience + Game, Documentary and Photo Installation.
Maia Marinelli is an artist and cultural entrepreneur working at the intersection of art, technology, social and environmental practices. Prior to the exhibition, she has been teaching Designing Immersive Experience at Anant National University, working between Mumbai and Ahmedabad on this site-specific project focusing on Mazagaon.
