From 2010, the shortest day of the year, 21 December (winter solstice), has been named the international Short Film Day.
Short Film Day is an occasion to access short films that rarely arrive in theatres, confined primarily within the circles of film festivals, which however can earn the appreciation of the general public for their originality and freshness.
This year, due to the ongoing healthcare emergency, Italian Cultural Centre Mumbai, in collaboration with the National Centre for Short Films of Italy, bring to you the possibility to view online a selection of curated short films produced in 2019.
