This December, Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Mumbai, in collaboration with the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) and The Poona Music Society, present two evenings of music featuring Italian violinist Domenico Nordio, offering audiences an opportunity to experience a selection of solo violin repertoire in an intimate concert setting.
Violinist and violist, Domenico Nordio gave his first recital at the age of 10 and was hailed as a child prodigy. A multifaceted artiste and leading performer of contemporary music-many pieces have been dedicated to him-he has played on the most prestigious stages across continents, both as a soloist and chamber musician. This is his fourth visit to India, a country he loves for the vitality of its audiences and its deep respect for music and musicians.
