The Week of Italian Language in the world is celebrated from 18 to 24 October all institutions involved with Italian culture organize events, meetings and representations in more than 110 countries to show the richness of our language on the occasion of the ‘Week of the Italian Language’ promoted as every year by the Italoian Foreign Ministry. The theme of this 2021 edition is dedicated to the figure and work of Dante Alighieri on the 700th anniversary of his death.
Among the appointments scheduled in Mumbai there is, for example, a conference on Dante’s vision and poetics, a series of contemporary dance videos performed in Ravenna, the city that hosted the Poet in the final part of his life, and one original show with readings by Ivano Marescotti and music by Marianne Gubri and Roberto Passuti.
The 2021 edition is dedicated to “Dante. Italian”.
