The programme brought together the orchestral works of Holst and Mendelssohn with the richness of the Italian vocal tradition, featuring music by Gastaldon, Brogi, Di Lazzaro, Denza, Verdi and Rossini. Under Alibrando\u2019s direction, the SOI Chamber Orchestra brought the carefully curated programme to life, while Angel Romero performed the Italian repertoire with intensity and sensitivity.
