The Stranger is a sold-out and critically acclaimed experience designed for one audience member at a time. Directed by Daniele Bartolini, it was co-created with Rory de Brouwer, Danya Buonastella and Chiara Fontanella.
As the lone audience member you will be thrust into a secret world. You will travel through streets, alleyways and undisclosed locations as the downtown transforms into an urban labyrinth. You will follow ambiguous characters and soon find yourself at the centre of an unfolding narrative where you have become the protagonist of your own story. The Stranger is an urban-immersive-interactive experience that blurs the lines between reality and fiction. It is an entire show just for you. You will become performer searching for clues and an answer to this enigmatic game.
Due to the direct interaction between actor, audience, and the surrounding environment, each performance is a completely unique experience. A series of interactions are presented to the participant with the objective of questioning themselves, their identity and the different locations they visit. The objective is to define a new art form where the lines between artist and audience are erased and the two become one in an intimate act of creation.
