His subsequent recording of all six Paganini violin concertos on Paganini’s own violin, ‘Il Canone’, is unequalled in terms of virtuosity and musical insight even to this day. Maestro Quarta has appeared with most leading orchestras and eminent chamber music partners at the most important venues. Quarta also follows a busy conducting and teaching career. He is professor at the Swiss Conservatoire in Lugano and artistic director of Orchestra of the National University of Mexico.
Simonetta Tancredi, a native of Napoli, enjoys a very busy career as a pianist, répétiteur, teacher and chamber musician. She is in demand by leading opera houses and concert halls all over the world. As a language coach, she worked with Placido Domingo on his album of Neapolitan songs released on Deutsche Grammophon.
