About Artists
Leslie Howard has prepared some of the works which have proved most in demand by his many followers throughout the years: a programme of Liszt’s operatically inspired piano music that he is playing in many countries. 2018 will also see the release of one further CD of hitherto unrecorded pieces by Liszt, finally bringing the total to 100, and so extending the already unequalled accomplishment of the largest solo artist recording project in the history of classical music.
Ludovico Troncanetti began studying piano at 13 and just one year later he entered the Siena Conservatory and in 2009 he began studies in London with the world-renowned pianist Leslie Howard. Troncanetti is a great admirer of the music of the works of Franz Liszt and has been assisting Dr Leslie Howard, one of the world experts of Liszt’s music, on the Italian translation of the catalogue of the complete works of Liszt and into the research of some copies of Liszt’s piano rarities, for the Hyperion label.
