The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival held in February annually, is undoubtedly one of the biggest draws for all art patrons across Mumbai. In these unusual and uncertain times, this festival titled KGAFunlocked, will be held virtually from 6-14 February’ 2021, with a focus on educating the patrons with glimpses into an artist’s studio.
These short videos offer an enriching insight into each ones workspace, and their creative journeys. The artists discuss their introspections and reflections, their inspiration, their pre occupation through the challenges of Covid and their thoughts on an era in Art post-Covid.
Valentina Furian, born in Venice (IT), live and works in Milan (IT). She attended the Visual Arts course at the Iuav University of Venice (IT) and at the all'école des beaux-arts de Nantes Saint-Nazaire (FR).
In 2021 her work was selected in Cantica21 promoted by Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale (MAECI) – Direzione Generale per la Promozione del Sistema Paese and by Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali e per il Turismo (MIBACT) – Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea.
