MARIGOLD GLITCH: EVA MACALI

Marigold Glitch is a showcase of work by Italian research artist Eva Macali who is doing an artist residency at the Indian Sonic Research Organisation (I.S.R.O) in Bangalore. Eva’s practice integrates painting, sculpture, sound, and video through installations and experimental writing.

 

Eva Macali is an Italian research artist based in Rome and over the years she has carried out institutional work of communication and research in national and international public bodies, as well as assignments and consultancies for advertising agencies and companies. Her work has been exhibited in museums, foundations and non-profit venues in Italy and abroad.

 

The residency at the I.S.R.O is supported by the Italian Institute of Culture in Mumbai, Consulate General of Italy in Bangalore and Srishti Manipal Institute. The showcase is hosted by the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore.

 

The work will be on display on Friday, 30th September, 4 pm onwards and on Saturday, 1st October from 10 am to 6 pm at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore. Entry is free.
