Teaching Italian

Teaching Italian

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affair and International Cooperation appoints language assistants to foreign schools and universities. Teachers are selected among secondary schools (1st and 2nd grade) personnel. Language assistants often collaborate with Italian Cultural Institutes thus becoming all round promoters of Italian language and culture.
The Ministry also gives foreign universities grants to support the teaching of Italian and to hire local teachers. For more information, please visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Please also visit the Italian Ministry of Education and University website for more information on teaching in schools.
