The Italian Cultural Institute in Mumbai has launched a new initiative for students of Don Bosco Institute of Technology, offering a comprehensive programme in Italian language, culture and civic education. Responding to the growing importance of linguistic and cultural preparation for international mobility, the programme equips participants with the essential linguistic, cultural and civic competencies for their future experience in Italy, opening new educational and professional opportunities.
To mark the beginning of this initiative, the Director of the Institute, Mr. Raffaello Barbieri, visited the Don Bosco campus in Kurla and met with the students who will soon embark on this linguistic and cultural journey. The interaction provided an opportunity to discuss Italy’s rich heritage, the value of language learning and immersion, and the importance of cultural awareness and civic understanding as key elements of their preparation for life in Italy.
