Mumbai is set to savour the rich flavours of Italy as celebrated chef, author, and food historian Rita Monastero brings her culinary expertise to the city in a series of exclusive events titled “A Taste of Italy: A Journey Between Tradition and Modernity”. From November 10th to 13th, 2024, Chef Monastero engages with Mumbai’s culinary community, sharing her deep knowledge of Italian cuisine through masterclasses and demonstrations. With over 20 years of experience, she is renowned for preserving traditional recipes while embracing modern sensibilities. A familiar face on Italian television and the author of 13 cookbooks, Chef Monastero’s visit promises an authentic exploration of Italy’s gastronomic heritage, blending time-honoured traditions with innovation.
Organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai and Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Mumbai in collaboration with ENIT and Magazine St. Kitchen, this initiative is part of the IX Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo (Week of Italian Cuisine in the World).
