The Oberoi Melting Pot is an annual event hosted in association with The Oberoi, Mumbai, the Consular Corps in Mumbai, and the Rotary District 3141. TOMP is a cultural charity fundraising event where the Consulates of different countries in Mumbai showcase their cuisines, traditions, customs and culture and contribute to a noble cause by setting up stalls in the Regal Room.
This year the participating Consulates are:
Argentina, Belgium, Canada, China, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom. These 22 countries will showcase their cuisines at stalls set up in the Regal Room.
Apart from international cuisines, cultural performances, a live band, and an open bar are other highlights of the evening.
The sum collected at The Oberoi Melting Pot this year will be donated to four charities:
Asha Sadan, Fight Hunger Foundation, K 13 Haj Bachuvale Charitable Hospital, United Way – Join the fight against hunger
The Oberoi Melting Pot will be held at Regal Room at Trident Nariman Point on Sunday, 26th March between 6.00 pm and 10.00 pm.
Donor passes for the evening are priced at Rs. 4,000.
