In celebrating the‘Italian Language Week in the World’, Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Mumbai and CIDIM (Comitato Nazionale Italiano Musica), member of IMC-UNESCO (International Music Council) together with The Poona Music Society present a trio concert by soprano Fiorenza Mercatali, baritone Gianandrea Navacchia and pianist Francesco De Poli.
A concert within the project “Young Italian musical talents in the world”, which arises from the synergy between the Accademia Chigiana, the International Academy ‘Incontri col Maestro’ of Imola and the CIDIM National Italian Music Committee, that promotes the entry into the international musical world of best young Italian talents.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
Fiorenza Mercatali was born in Latina (Italy) in 1996. She started to study as a soprano when she was sixteen and, during her studies, she attended Masterclasses with William Matteuzzi and Bernadette Manca di Nissa. During her career she performed in many important theatres around the world, with Francesco De Poli as well.
Gianandrea Navacchia Baritone, he studied singing with William Matteuzzi, his reference teacher who still follows him. He graduated in Baroque singing at the “G. B. Martini” Conservatory of Bologna with and in lyric singing at the “A. Boito” Conservatory in Parma. His chamber music repertoire is also extensive, including authors such as Mozart, Beethoven, Rossini, Schubert, and Schumann.
Francesco De Poli is an Italian pianist and baritone. He obtained the highest grade in singing degree. He is perfected, for singing, with M° William Matteuzzi. Then, it follows the Master degree in Vocal Chamber Music at the Conservatory “F. Venezze” of Rovigo, 110/110 praise and Honorable Mention. In the meantime, he achieves Piano’s degree, graduating with honors. Thanks to Chigiana Academy, he performed in different concerts, collaborating with the Italian Cultural Institutes and Embassies.
